Currants & Caterpillar

    This is an image I submitted for the PFCC challenge the week of Memorial Day. The background is one of my images, and was the starter image. I added a basil plant and Monarch caterpillar from Pixel Squid. Some masking and color changes took me to the final product.

    I was looking through some images yesterday aspart of my prep for the upcoming Photoshop class at the art center, and found the two images that I used in the focus stack for the current bush. What a treat to find that very image was in the next composite to show off in my blog. The currant bush is one of my favorites. I love the soft greens an how the smooth bokeh in the background shows off the in- focus unripe berries.

    I’ve added another sticker to my safety messages. Take care and stay well!
